Kaiser Permanente
Intranet, eZine

Kaiser Permanente began at the height of the Great Depression with a single inventive young surgeon and a 12-bed hospital in the middle of the Mojave desert. Now there are roughly 9 million enrolled members... and those members require the support of a knowledgeable and up-to-date employee base.
As Kaiser rolled out it's "Thrive" campaign, it simultaneously launched "kp_Link," a Ghostdog designed employee eZine, to keep its employees informed of current medical initiatives, health news, e-level messaging, and not least, interesting and relevant historical tidbits from it's vast historical archives.
Also at the same time, Ghostdog gave the employee portal a design face lift that includes a section that "teases" users to link to the ezine... effectively increasing portal hits and throughput.
